PURPOSE OF THE TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:

This technical description describes the application of photovoltaic streetlights in a standard installation.
This lighting example concerns a street inside a park. The distance between the poles is 22.5 metres.
50 poles were installed for a total distance of 1125 metres. The autonomous illumination uses solar power supplied by a photovoltaic module and a storage battery mounted on a self supported structure fitted on the pole.
The lamps fitted in the streetlight frame are low-pressure sodium vapour, running on 12 Vdc power supplied by the AGM stationary storage battery.
